it’s around this time of every year we begin to either lean in to what we want form God, feel He can do OR we make a quiet inner resolve to get our heads back into the game top of the coming year.
I get it. I understand. Why continue to do the same thing and expect different results?
There’s one fundamental change that needs to happen in order for you to see what you’ve been talking to. I’m not putting dates on it, but you’ll never get to Buckhead traveling 85 North.

Sometimes it looks like what you want it to, others times it’s startling beyond what you saw and still yet other times, it’s underwhelming. Regardless, God’s heart is his best for you.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Ill: Her dream school was TCU. It was on our family vision board. We prayed, tested retested, cried, sowed, work on extra cirriculars. She got in…no money. UGA was the shoe in. She would’ve got the Zell Miller, been close to home, my alma mater, she didn’t get in.
PA and I had 1 prayer “Lord where do you want her? Where can she go and thrive and grow and prep for next part of her life?”

some will never see what they’re calling because your heart isn’t right. Not because of sin but because it’s “ill postured.”
ill: have you ever had a girl/boy friend that you really didn’t like you just didn’t want to be lonely…something to do?
you put less effort because your heart wasn’t with them. But when that ‘one’ showed up!
This was where God started with Gideon…his heart.
12 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!” 13 Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.” 14 Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?”
Q: What would the manifestation of this promise look like?

His heart was for God, but it wasn’t solely believing in what God was promising! “Why do yo asy that?” You aren’t crazy enough not acknowledge Him as God but you really don’t believe He can change water into wine!

Scripture says your treasures are where your heart are.
used to measure love based on what was given me. But the treasures have to show up. Somebody’s gotta go buy ‘em. Take the time. Be there when you put the treasure on, not just hear about!

You are going to have to work to be K! Christians have mocked and ridiculed and question and doubted Kayne because they’ve never seen someone radically saved and flip the script.
Church culture says “that aint how you do it!”
2 Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
